Healthcare proxy, care directive and legal guardianship - We are here for you
One of the main tasks of the guardianship office is to support the guardianship court during the guardianship procedure. For this purpose, a social report is drawn up and a legal guardian is proposed.
The areas in which support is required for the person concerned are examined. In addition, affected persons, relatives and voluntary carers are offered advice on the subject of care and precautionary options.

- Co-operation with the responsible care facilities by determining the facts of the case with a professional opinion
- Suggestion of a suitable carer
- Registration of professional carers
- Support for voluntary and professional carers
- Recruitment of voluntary and professional carers
- Advice on legal guardianship
- Advice on (precautionary) powers of attorney, advance care directives and living wills
- Public notarisation of signatures on (precautionary) powers of attorney and advance care directives
- Support with accommodation under guardianship law
- Referral of affected persons for assessment by experts
- Referral of affected persons for hearings at the guardianship court
- Public relations work
- Networking, participation in working groups and other events
